An Infrastructure of One
For 2016, I joined The Home Depot as the principal technical writer for infrastructure services. Serving over 2,000 corporate and IT customers, Home Depot Infrastructure is the backbone of this multimillion-dollar retail powerhouse.
My main responsibility was the Infrastructure Services Catalog, what became the hub for internal services over the course of my tenure. I addressed UX and readability issues across all products, while developing intakes to capture user data.
To enhance the image of Infrastructure Services, I created presentations and infographics for internal circulation. I truly embraced the spirit of an Infrastructure of One, consulting with senior project managers as well as directors. With my assistance, they focused their presentations and created stunning graphics to reinforce their main ideas.
