Torchy's Tacos

Torchy's Tacos is an Austin institution. As they were beginning to expand out of state into Colorado, Torchy's wanted to change up their training.

The Taco Bible, Torchy's secret recipes guarded closely by all who have seen them. I've kept the secrets by obscuring any proprietary information.

I wanted to simplify the Taco Bible, substituting icons for equipment and images for ingredients. I relocated important information regarding food temperature and spoiling dates to an easily-accessed area. Each recipe is color-coded based upon the trainee's role, and each can be read in two different directions, depending on the trainee's cooking style.
