Unfortunately, I cannot share any work samples from this project, as it is all proprietary. I will discuss the work, however.
The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) is the national credentialing agency for health insurance coders. In anticipation of changes under Obamacare, AHIMA's courses needed a complete revamping, as they were moving from one standard (ICD-9) to another (ICD-10). Courses had to be updated with the new information.
AHIMA took this opportunity to ensure quality control and review their other courses unaffected by the ICD switch. My contract included consulting source material and SMEs, revising lessons, and transferring the courses out of Lectora for transfer into AHIMA's proprietary learning management system.
